The spectacular autumn colors are surrounding you when you take advantage of the many hiking trails in the area including the 2.5 hiking trail on the part of the Appalachian Trail near Man In The Mountain. Located about 30 minutes from Corner Brook, hike the Copper Mine trail which is also part of the international Appalachian Trail. Considered a bit of a challenging hike to the top, for those who love adventure travel it will be worth every bit of sweat endured. Stop at the various look outs and take in the beautiful views of the Bay of Islands including Seal’s Nest and Governor’s Island.
